Philanthropy Events

 

We host one philanthropy event each semester to support Delta Gamma's Foundation, Service For Sight (which you can read up on here).

FALL PHILANTHROPY

Our main event was Grilled Cheese with DeeGees. On a Friday night, all of the women in DG came together and delivered grilled cheeses on and off-campus. With this event, we raised $1,645 for our philanthropy, Service for Sight! 

This was an incredible way for our sisters to bond with one another and Do Good. I can't wait to see what else our chapter will accomplish in the future. 

 

 

SPRING PHILANTHROPY 

Epsilon Mu held Anchor Slam, a home run derby-style wiffle ball competition, in the 2023 spring semester. Participants could sign up to swing as many times as they wished, and prizes were awarded to the top three farthest hitters. The chapter raised over $1,000, half of which will be supporting Access Virginia, a local non-profit organization providing audio description for the blind and visually impaired at theatrical performances. 

Our sisters had so much fun hosting this event, and it was a great way for us and our friends in the William & Mary community to support our philanthropy!
